Mobilfunkbetreiber sollten erst niedrige Terminierungsentgelte akzeptieren und laufende juristische Verfahren einstellen, bevor sie die Weitergabe sinkender Entgelte an Endkunden fordern
Die seit Anfang Dezember 2007 gültigen Terminierungsentgelte im Mobilfunk sorgen weiterhin für Diskussion. Mit ihrem jüngsten Beschluss hat die Bundesnetzagentur die Preise für die Weiterleitung von Gesprächen in Mobilfunknetze um rund zehn Prozent gesenkt. Einige Mobilfunkunternehmen fordern nun von Festnetzbetreibern, diese Absenkung der Entgelte an ihre Endkunden weiterzugeben. Diese auf den ersten Blick verbraucherfreundliche Forderung wird jedoch vom Verhalten eben dieser Mobilfunkanbieter konterkariert: Alle Mobilfunkunternehmen haben juristische Schritte eingeleitet, klagen gegen die Entgeltentscheidung der Bundesnetzagentur und fordern wesentlich höhere Entgelte.
