Der gestiegene Automatisierungsgrad im Bereich Maschinen und Anlagen erfordert zunehmend eine größere Menge an Daten zu übertragen. Die in der Büroebene längst etablierte Ethernet-Technologie findet dabei in verschiedenen Industriebussen Anwendung. Neben den definierten Steckverbindern auf der industriellen Ebene muss auch der Standard RJ45 Steckverbinder dem Umfeld besser angepasst werden.

Die von CONEC designte Umspritzung mit integriertem Rasthebelschutz bildet einen kompakten Übergang zwischen dem Steckverbinder und der industrietauglichen Leitung und bietet damit eine optimierte Zugentlastung und einen erhöhten Staubschutz an der Kabelseite.
