Die VG Media hat mit dem GdW Bundesverband deutscher Wohnungs- und Immobilienunternehmen e.V. nach konstruktiven Verhandlungen einen neuen Gesamtvertrag zum Erwerb der Urheber- und Leistungsschutzrechte für die Kabelweitersendung in Wohnanlagen geschlossen. Wohnanlagen mit zehn und weniger Wohneinheiten sind von der Vergütungspflicht befreit.
