Rainer Kambeck übernimmt Steuerabteilung im DIHK

Ab 1. Juni 2013 leitet Dr. Rainer Kambeck den Bereich Finanzen und Steuern im DIHK. Der 51-jährige Volkswirt war in den letzten 8 Jahren Leiter des Kompetenzbereichs Öffentliche Finanzen im Rheinisch-Westfälischen Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung (RWI). Davor hat er in verschiedenen wissenschaftlichen Positionen u.a. im RWI und der Universität zu Köln gearbeitet. Kambeck hat nach seinem VWL-Studium an der Universität zu Köln mit einer Arbeit zu Wachstumseffekten der Kapitaleinkommensbesteuerung promoviert und zahlreiche Beiträge zu Steuer- und Haushaltsthemen veröffentlicht. Er bringt in die Arbeit beim DIHK Erfahrungen aus Forschungsprojekten zu öffentlichen Haushalten, zu verschiedenen Steuerthemen sowie zur Wirkung von staatlichen Investitionen ein.
