T-Online präsentiert zur IFA 2003 einen Prototypen des neuen serverbasierten Spamfilters. Dieser wird den bereits vorhandenen Schutz der eMail-Software 5.0, die den Kunden bereits seit der CeBIT 2003 zur Verfügung steht, erweitern. Das Angebot wird voraussichtlich gegen Ende des Jahres zur Verfügung stehen.

Ziel des neuen Spamfilters ist es, den Kunden verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Konfiguration entsprechend den persönlichen Anforderungen zu bieten. Durch den kombinierten Einsatz verschiedener Filtermethoden wird der Spamfilter eine möglichst hohe Effizienz bei geringer Fehlerquote ("false positive rate") realisieren.

Als Spam erkannte eMails werden in separaten Ordnern abgelegt. Auf diese Weise behält der Kunde jederzeit die Tngzjdlda atur oousp nDlqmw.
