Kahlschlag bei der DW droht: DJV fordert höheres Budget

Der Deutsche Journalisten-Verband hat die Abbauszenarien bei der Deutschen Welle in Berlin und Bonn auf das Schärfste verurteilt. Intendant Peter Limbourg droht derzeit mit Kahlschlag. Er informiert derzeit die Mitarbeiter in Bonn über einschneidende Maßnahmen. Die Mitarbeiter in Berlin wurden bereits gestern informiert. Sollten die Finanzzusagen für den Sender im nächsten Jahr nicht deutlich steigen, werden die Fernsehprogramme in Deutsch, Spanisch und Arabisch in Berlin eingestellt. Es bliebe dann nur noch das Englische Programm übrig. Am Standort Bonn sollen journalistische Angebote in 10 Sprachen aufgegeben werden. "Die vorgelegten Maßnahmen zerstören das Herz des Senders und sind nicht hinnehmbar", sagte der
