Der µStick ("Micro-Stick") wurde entwickelt, um IEPE-Sensoren an Konstantspannungsquellen betreiben zu können, wenn keine Konstantstromquellen verfügbar sind.

IEPE-Sensoren benötigen eine Konstantstromquelle für den Betrieb. Viele Labore setzen aber Datenerfassungssysteme ein, die ausschließlich Konstantspannungsquellen haben. Bisher konnten IEPE-Sensoren dort nicht verwendet werden, auch wenn sie besser geeignet waren, beispielsweise wegen ihrer höheren Dynamik oder kompakteren Abmessungen (triachsiale IEPE-Beschleunigungssensoren mit 6 mm Kantenlänge sind durchaus möglich). Der µStick eröffnet nun diese Möglichkeit.

Dieses kompakte Modul wird einfach am BNC-Stecker des Sensorkabels angeschlossen. Der Anschluss an die Elektronik erfolgt über einen 4-Pin M8 Stecker.
