Die Seminarreihe "Islam im europäischen Kontext" der Donau-Universität Krems führt von 23. bis 25. Februar in das Islamische Zentrum Penzberg nach Oberbayern. Initiativen der Muslime in Europa und die Tätigkeit des Zentrums werden im Gespräch mit den drei Experten Ahmad Milad Karimi (Religionsphilosoph, Freiburg), Benjamin Idriz (Imam des Islamischen Zentrums Penzberg) und Stephan Jakob Wimmer (Zentrum Islam in Europa, München) erörtert.

Das Seminar findet im Islamischen Zentrum Penzberg (Oberbayern) statt, das durch seine innovative Architektur internationale Beachtung gefunden hat. Es bietet die einmalige Gelegenheit, nicht nur die zeitgenössische Moscheearchitektur, sondern auch die aktive bosnisch-muslimische Gemeinde in Penzberg kennenzulernen.
