Die Duisburger Hafen AG (duisport) und China Railway Container Transport Corp., Ltd (CRCT), eine Tochtergesellschaft der China State Railway Group Co., Ltd, arbeiten zukünftig verstärkt zusammen. Jetzt wurde das Rahmenabkommen über den weiteren Ausbau der China Railway Express-Verkehre vereinbart.

Das Unternehmen CRCT mit Sitz in Peking, wurde im November 2003 mit einem Stammkapital von 502 Millionen Euro gegründet. Das Angebot umfasst den Transport von Gütern, internationale Speditionsdienstleistungen sowie internationalen Warenhandel.

Mit dieser strategischen Kooperation fördern die beiden führenden Unternehmen im Transport- und Logistikbereich den Schienenverkehr zwischen China und Duisburg.
