Die CrysCam UV™ von Art Robbins Instruments ist ein automatisches Digitalmikroskop zur Aufnahme von Proteinkristallen mit sichtbarem und UV-Licht. Das System ermöglicht es, komplette Arbeitsabläufe zu programmieren, Platten in ANSI-/SLAS- und Linbro-Formaten sowie LCP-Objektträger aufzunehmen und anschließend mit der nutzerfreundlichen Software eine Analyse durchzuführen, die eine Vermessung des Kristalls, den Vergleich von Bildern von verschiedenen Platten, Lichtquellen oder Tagen beinhaltet. „Deep-Field“ Aufnahmen, wobei ein Bild die Aufnahme vieler verschiedener Schichten des Kristalls enthält, können mit dem Gerät ebenfalls erstellt werden. Informationen über die Kristallisierungsbedingungen können vom nutzereigenen „Scorpion Screen Builder“ in die Software übertragen werden.
