Porvair Sciences hat ein Sortiment an Hochleistungs-Filterplatten entwickelt, das für die meisten Filteranwendungen geeignet ist. In ihrer einfachsten Form werden Filterplatten dazu verwendet, um Feinstaub von Flüssigkeiten zu trennen, wenn entweder der Feinstaub oder das Filtrat zur weiteren Analyse benötigt wird.

Sie sind in vielen unterschiedlichen Formaten (mit 48, 96 und 384 Loch), Fassungsvermögen (350ul - 5ml) und Filtermaterialien (Glasfaser, Nylon, PVDF und Polyäthylen) erhältlich. Porvair kann eine optimierte Filterplatte für verschiedene Anwendungen anbieten, wie zum Beispiel zur Zellernte, DNA-Separation, Plasmidisolierung, für Bindungsstudien, sowie zur allgemeinen Filterung und zur Probenreinigung.
