Der Block I des Kernkraftwerks Neckarwestheim (GKN I) wird heute Nacht vom Betreiber, der EnBW Kernkraft GmbH, für Instandhaltungsarbeiten vorsorglich abgefahren. Maßgeblich hierfür ist das sicherheitsgerichtete Verhalten der EnBW.

Geplant ist die Beseitigung einer geringfügigen Undichtigkeit im Bereich des Deckeldichtungssystems des Reaktordruckbehälters.
