Die EnBW Erneuerbare Energien GmbH schickt voraussichtlich am kommenden Montag ihre Umspannstation für den EnBW Windpark Baltic 1 auf die Reise: Von Bremerhaven aus geht es durch den Nord-Ostsee-Kanal nach Wismar. In Wismar und anschließend in Rostock wird die Umspannstation weiter ausgerüstet. Mit einem Schwimmkran hängend wird die Umspannstation danach ins Baufeld gebracht und installiert. EnBW Baltic 1 wird der erste kommerzielle Offshore-Windpark in der deutschen Ostsee und wird aktuell gebaut.

Vier Decks hoch, voll beladen mit Elektrotechnik, Überstiegsstellen und Notunterkünften ausgestattet - die Umspannplattform ist das Herzstück des Windparks.
