Um den Wechsel zu ZW3D zu vereinfachen, hat kürzlich der Hersteller ZWSoft Schnittstellen zum Import von nativen Fremddaten aus SolidWorks, Catia, ProE, NX und Inventor kostenlos hinzugefügt. Somit können die "alten" Daten aus dem bereits existierenden Datenstamm einfach und unkompliziert übernommen werden.
