Interessant ist diese Konstellation insbesondere für den Einsatz der IXI-UMS Lösung im Bereich Virtualisierung mit ISDN: Während herkömmliche ISDN-Karten derzeit keine Treiber für die Installation auf VMware und Hyper-V zur Verfügung stellen, kann serVonic IXI-UMS mit bintec Hardware auch für ISDN-Anschluss auf virtuellen Servern eingesetzt werden.
