EEX to carry out additional Phase II EUA Auction for Lithuania

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) will conduct one additional auction of Phase II EU allowances (EUA) for Lithuania. The Lithuanian ministry of the Environment commissioned EEX to auction 1,204,000 EUAs via the Spot Market of the exchange. These allowances are leftover volumes from the Lithuanian New Entrants Reserve (NER) for the second phase of the EU emissions trading scheme (2008 to 2012).

The auction will take place on Tuesday, 26 March 2013, where trading participants will have the opportunity to submit bids for the auction between 1 pm and 3 pm CET. The auction calendar has been adjusted accordingly and nb uwbskxqbz in qnb xtkefgfjs pdqr:
