Neue Forschungsprojekte mit russischen Partnern

Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler des Forschungszentrums Jülich sind mit zwei Projekten an der nächsten Ausschreibung der "Helmholtz-Russia Joint Research Groups" beteiligt. Das Programm betreibt die Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft seit 2006 zusammen mit der "Russian Foundation for Basic Research". Seither wurden in vier Ausschreibungen 26 gemeinsame Projekte gefördert. Für die fünfte Ausschreibung mit einem thematischen Fokus auf "Forschung mit Photonen, Ionen und Neutronen" wurden insgesamt zwölf Anträge eingereicht.

Im Forschungszentrum wird zum einen das Projekt "Development of Methodologies for Structural Studies of Membrane Proteins via Small-Angle Neutron and X-ray Scattering" von Prof. Valentin Gordeliy am Institute of Complex Systems (ICS) gefördert; russischer Partner
