Neue Testtechnologie LBF Rad-Straßensimulator erstmals vorgestellt

Im Rahmen der „8th International Users Conference on Biaxial Wheel Fatigue Testing” am 19.09.2007 in Darmstadt stellt das Fraunhofer LBF erstmals den neu entwickelten LBF Rad-Straßensimulator vor. Mit Hilfe des neuartigen Prüfstandskonzeptes können die Sicherheit und Lebensdauer von drehenden Fahrzeugkomponenten wie Räder, Naben und Lagern überprüft und bewertet werden. Die Neuerungen des Prüfstandes dienen vor allem der Optimierung neuer Konstruktionen, Werkstoffe, Fertigungsverfahren und Verbindungstechnologien unter Berücksichtigung mechanischer und thermischer Belastungsprofile.
