Grundlage und treibende Kraft bei der Entwicklung neuartiger industrieller Produkte sind fast immer auch werkstoffbasierte Innovationen. Angesichts steigender Energiekosten, wachsender Ressourcenknappheit und der globalen Klimadiskussion stehen heute neben der Funktionalität und Wirtschaftlichkeit zunehmend Aspekte der Energie- und Materialeffizienz im Fokus. Am 11. und 12. September 2008 bietet das Fraunhofer LBF in Darmstadt in Kooperation mit der Fraunhofer-Technology Academy und dem Fraunhofer-Verbund Werkstoffe, Bauteile Führungskräften und Entscheidern aus der Wirtschaft den direkten Erfahrungsaustausch mit führenden Technologieexperten. Die Teilnehmer des Technologiezirkels "Neue Werkstoffe und Technologien" erhalten Einblicke in die Fraunhofer-Materialforschung und lernen relevante Trends im Kontext des eigenen Unternehmens zu beurteilen.
