WISA hochfeste Kunststoffstrukturen - Sicherheitsbauteile aus SMC?

Im Rahmen des Fraunhofer internen Forschungsprojektes WISA "Hochfeste Kunststoffstrukturen" wurden von 2006 bis 2009 durch die Verknüpfung der Kompetenzen in den Bereichen Material-, Verfahrens- und Fertigungstechnologie (Fraunhofer ICT), Analysetechnik auf Basis zerstörungsfreier Prüfverfahren (Fraunhofer IZFP, EZRT und ITWM) sowie numerische / experimentelle Betriebslasten- und Crashsimulation (Fraunhofer LBF und EMI), intensive Arbeiten zur Beschreibung von SMC-Materialien durchgeführt.

Ziel der WISA "Hochfeste Kunststoffstrukturen" war es hierbei, Voraussetzungen und Werkzeuge für die betriebssichere Ausle­gung von gewichtsoptimierten Sicherheitsbauteilen aus SMC für die nachhaltige Nutzung in mittleren bis großen Stückzahlen zu ermöglichen.
