Experten des Fraunhofer-Institus für Photonische Mikrosysteme IPMS in Dresden entwickeln seit Jahren kompakte, kundenspezifische Sensortransponder für verschiedenste Industrieanwendungen. Die RFID-Tags sind prädestiniert, voluminöse Sensorknoten herkömmlicher batteriebetriebener Systeme in industriellen Sensornetzwerken abzulösen. Denn die drahtlosen Sensorknoten arbeiten wartungsfrei ohne Batterie und werden allein durch die Antenne des Readers im Netzwerk mit Energie versorgt. Besucher der Embedded World können sich vom 23.-25. Februar 2016 am Ausstellungsstand des Fraunhofer IPMS 583 in Halle 4 über die Technologie informieren.
