Die Auszeichnung für Unternehmen mit innovativen Ideen in Deutschland

Bis zum 23. Mai 2011 können sich Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen wieder um den Deutschen Innovationspreis für Klima und Umwelt (IKU) bewerben. Der Wettbewerb wird bereits zum dritten Mal vom Bundesumweltministerium (BMU) und dem Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e. V. (BDI) ausgeschrieben. Als wissenschaftlicher Partner begutachten Innovationsanalysten des Fraunhofer-Instituts für System- und Innovationsforschung ISI die Bewerbungen. Auf der Grundlage ihrer Empfehlungen wird eine hochrangig besetzte Jury aus Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft, Politik und Medien unter dem Vorsitz von Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer fünf Preise vergeben, die jeweils mit 25.000 Euro dotiert sind.
