Europa's erstes industrielles GS20-Genomprojekt von GATC geliefert

GATC ist die erste Sequenzierfirma in Europa die auf einem GS20* produzierte Sequenzdaten an einen internationalen Konzern geliefert hat. Diese mit der neuen 454-Technologie generierten Daten werden in einer sogenannten Hybridstrategie mit Sequenzen, die mit der klassischen Sanger-Technologie produziert wurden, unter Verwendung der Software DNASTAR SeqMan Pro(TM) assembliert. Das Genomprojekt wird Mitte Januar 2007 vollstaendig abgeschlossen sein. Projektdetails werden auf Kundenwunsch zu einem spaeteren Zeitpunkt veroeffentlicht. Ende Oktober hat GATC als erster Sequenzierdienstleister in Europa bekanntgegeben, Genomsequenzierung auch mittels der neuen 454-Technologie anbieten zu koennen.
