Anerkanntes Labor-Netzwerk in der EPR-Spektroskopie

DFG-Schwerpunktprogramm an der Universität Göttingen wird drei Jahre mit 520.000 Euro gefördert

Das DFG-Schwerpunktprogramm 1601 "New Frontiers in Sensitivity for EPR Spectroscopy: From Biological Cells to Nano Materials" ist für weitere drei Jahre bis 2018 verlängert worden. Es wird koordiniert an der Fakultät für Chemie der Universität Göttingen und mit rund 520.000 Euro gefördert. Zum Schwerpunkt gehören 27 Labore aus Bereichen wie Biochemie, Chemie, Physik, Material- und Ingenieurwissenschaften, deren gemeinsames Ziel die Sensibilitätssteigerung von Elektronenspinresonanz (EPR) ist. Das gesamte Fördervolumen des Netzwerkes in den kommenden drei Jahren beträgt etwa 8,4 Millionen Euro.

Bisher sind Kooperationen und ein wissenschaftlich anerkanntes Netzwerk zwischen den teilnehmenden Laboren entstanden, die in internationalem Rahmen Beachtung finden.
