Wer sich seit dem 23. Oktober in der ARD-Themenwoche "Essen ist Leben" über die Zusammensetzung unserer Lebensmittel informiert, dem sei der zusätzliche Tipp gegeben, dass die Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) Mitte September die aktuelle Broschüre "HighChem hautnah - Aktuelles aus der Lebensmittelchemie" herausgegeben hat. Auf 100 Seiten informieren Lebensmittelchemiker über ihr verantwortungsvolles Arbeitsgebiet und geben Hintergrundinformationen zur Lebensmittelzusammensetzung, Lebensmittelüberwachung und -analytik, zu gesundheitlichen und toxischen Wirkungen, zur Lebensmittelerzeugung, aber auch zu Verpackungen und anderen Bedarfsgegenständen.

Die Broschüre der Lebensmittelchemischen Gesellschaft, der größten GDCh-Fachgruppe, wurde unabhängig von der ARD-Themenwoche bereits 2009 konzipiert, als die Aktuelle Wochenschau der GDCh (www.aktuelle-wochenschau.de) jede Woche eetmi Rbcgtui hqt pfw Hsbhyjzetjztfwyehy duzxsiv.
