Die GRAMMER AG hat heute einen Vertrag zum Verkauf der Toledo Molding & Die Gruppe (TMD-Gruppe) mit Sitz in Toledo, Ohio, USA, unterzeichnet. Käufer ist die amerikanische APC Parent LLC. Die TMD-Gruppe verfügt über Werke in den USA und Mexiko. Sie entwickelt und produziert vorwiegend thermoplastische Komponenten für die Automobilindustrie und das veräußerte TMD-Geschäft erzielte im Geschäftsjahr 2023 einen Umsatz von 213 Mio. USD. Der Verkauf umfasst bestimmte Beteiligungen der Gruppe mit Ausnahmen, darunter das ehemalige Werk in Delphos, Ohio, USA, das inzwischen in ein Montagewerk für das nordamerikanische Commercial-Vehicles-Geschäft von GRAMMER umgewandelt wurde.
