Die Green Energy World GmbH hat ihr erstes bulgarisches Windenergieprojekt für einen lokalen Projektentwickler vermarktet. Das Projekt befindet sich im windreichen nordöstlichen Teil des Landes. Der 12,6 Megawatt Windpark wird für sechs Windenergieanlagen vom Typ Suzlon S88 mit 88 Meter Rotordurchmesser geplant. Die Inbetriebnahme ist für das vierte Quartal 2009 avisiert.

Nach sechsmonatigen Verhandlungen wurde das Projekt an einen Investor in der Schweiz verkauft. "Die Vermarktung internationaler Windparkprojekte ist ein langwieriges Geschäft.
