Opella-XD - neuer JTAG-Debugger für ARC/ARM-Cores

Opella-XD - eine völlig neue JTAG-Debugger-Generation von Ashling Microsystems, Ltd. (gsh/München) - gibt es ab sofort auch für die ARC- und ARM-Architekturen. Dank der schnelleren USB2.0-Schnittstelle (480Mb/s) können JTAG-Clockzyklen bis 100MHz erreicht werden, wodurch der Entwicklungsprozess beim Code-Download (bis 3MB/s) , bei der Flash-Programierung und beim Debuggen enorm beschleunigt wird. Target-Spannungen von 0,9 bis 3,6V werden bei beiden Typen unterstützt.

Der Opella-XD verfügt außerdem über:

- Hot-Plugging-Support für Post-Mortem-Debugg-Prozesse („Auffinden der Absturzstelle“)
- einfache Plug-and-Play-Installation
- automatische Einstellung der maximalen Datenübertragung bezüglich des JTAG-Clocks des Targets
- In-System-Flash-Programmieirung (FPGA CLPD, etc.)
