Hamamatsu Photonics erhält Patente für Lightsheet-Auslese-Modus bei CMOS-Kameras

Lightsheet-Mikroskopie wird immer mehr zu einem wichtigen Instrument der biologischen Forschung. Zu ihren Stärken zählen die schnelle Erfassung von Bildern aus verschiedenen Bildebenen, die geringe Phototoxizität und das geringe Ausbleichen von Fluorophoren. Es gibt eine Vielzahl von Lightsheet-Systemen, die es Forschern ermöglichen, neue Fragenstellungen an lebenden Zellen und Organismen zu untersuchen.

Hamamatsu Photonics hat mehrere Patente für den "Lightsheet-Modus" erhalten, der bei der Bildaufnahme mit Rolling-Shutter bei wissenschaftlichen CMOS-Kameras für Lightsheet-Mikroskopie Benutzung findet. Der Lightsheet-Modus ist aktuell bei der Kamera ORCA-Flash4.0V2 erhältlich. Die patentierten Funktionen optimieren die Nutzung der Kameras von Hamamatsu in Bezug auf die Lightsheet-Anwendung.
