Europas größte Biotechnologie-Konferenz mit rund 3.000 Teilnehmern erfolgreich im CCH-Congress Center Hamburg beendet

Die Bio Europe 2012, Europas größte Biotechnologie-Konferenz, endete am 14. November mit rund 3.000 Teilnehmern im CCH-Congress Center Hamburg. An drei Tagen trafen sich die Top-Dealmaker aus den Bereichen Biotechnologie, Pharma und Finanzwesen. Die Besonderheit der jährlich stattfindenden Kongressmesse ist das Partneringsystem, in dem Konferenzteilnehmer in zeitlich getakteten Einzelgesprächen potenzielle Geschäftspartner kennenlernen. Insgesamt rund 15.000 One-to-One-Gespräche sollen nach Angabe des Veranstalters, der EBD Group, im CCH stattgefunden haben.

Bereits 2007 gelang es mit tatkräftiger Unterstützung des damaligen Chefs des Universitätsklinikums Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), Prof. Jörg Debatin, die Bio Europe nach Hamburg zu holen.
