Der Fokus des Forschungsteams liegt auf der Herstellung von Biomasse - einem erneuerbaren Energieträger, der ohne fossile Rohstoffe auskommt. Die benötigte Biomasse wird in kleinen Reaktoren durch eine biologische Synthesegas-Fermentation gewonnen.
