Andrea Heilmann aus Neuwied ist das einzige Mädchen in ihrem Ausbildungskurs

Auf nette Kolleginnen wartete Andrea Heilmann am ersten Tag ihrer überbetrieblichen Lehrlingsunterweisung (ÜLU) im Metall- und Technologiezentrum der HwK Koblenz vergeblich. Alle 22 angehenden Metallbauer, die mit ihr damals zum ersten "ÜLU-Tag" antraten, sind männlich. Inzwischen ist die Neuwiederin im zweiten Lehrjahr und noch immer das einzige Mädchen in ihrem Ausbildungskurs. "Kein Problem", sagt die 17-Jährige, die ihren Beruf bei der Weißenfels GmbH in Neuwied-Block erlernt. "Das klappt gut mit den vielen Jungs." Zuschneiden, bohren, schrauben, schweißen - vieles, was fertige Metallbauer nach ihrer Lehre können müssen, beherrscht Andrea schon aus dem FF.
