HeidelbergCement hat am 12. Oktober 2016 die nach dem öffentlichen Übernahmeangebot noch ausstehenden Anteile an Italcementi erworben. Damit ist HeidelbergCement nun der einzige Aktionär von Italcementi und verfügt über 100% des Aktienkapitals. Die Börsennotierung der Italcementi-Aktien wurde am gleichen Tag eingestellt.
