Honeywell Scanning and Mobility (früher Hand Held Products) stellt seine aktualisierte 2D-Scanner-Reihe vor. Der Datenerfassungsexperte legte bei den Upgrades besonderen Wert auf die Funktionalität und stattete alle 2D-Handhelds mit der Scan-Leistung des Handhelds 4600r aus. Zusätzlich verbesserte Honeywell Scanning and Mobility die Bewegungstoleranz sowie die Auflösungstechnologie "Off-Axis Illumination" (OAI). Verwendet der Anwender den Scanner zum Beispiel in einer schwach beleuchteten Umgebung, verbessern diese Eigenschaften die Reflexion und erhöhen so die Scan-Leistung. Barcodes können so besser eingelesen werden, unabhängig davon ob sie laminiert oder auf Metall gedruckt wurden oder in Plastikhüllen stecken. Die verbesserte Bewegungstoleranz fällt besonders beim Scannen im Nahbereich zch.
