Kostenoptimierte Lösungen für hochverfügbare Oracle Datenbanken bietet das Augsburger Systemhaus IBEX AG an. Auf der Basis von FSC Server-Systemen implementiert IBEX die Oracle-Version 9i RAC.

Das Hochverfügbarkeits-Paket umfasst das Design und die Installation einer Oracle 9i Real Application Clusters (RAC) Datenbank ebenso wie die Integration der Serversysteme von Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC). Customizing und Optimierung machen schließlich aus dem System eine hochverfügbare und skalierbare Lösung als IT-Basis der Unternehmensprozesse. Besonders durch die Einführung immer umfassenderer ERP-Systeme steigt die Zahl der geschäftskritischen Datenbanken in den Unternehmen. Durch die Technik der Cache Fusion erreicht Oracle 9i (RAC) höhere Verfügbarkeit und bessere Skalierbarkeit. In einer Art Software Clustering teilen sich die Knoten des Systems die Daten und Nutzeranfragen. Fällt ein Knoten aus, werden die Prozesse automatisch auf die uiomoebmkckq usyvooxa.
