Mit Platform VM Orchestrator (VMO) hat Platform Computing eine Software-Management-Lösung entwickelt, die virtuelle Infrastrukturen automatisch und regelbasiert verwaltet. Mit ihr können Unternehmen Prozesse automatisieren sowie verschiedene Virtual-Machine-Umgebungen zentral verwalten und ihre Verfügbarkeit verbessern. Platform VMO reduziert zudem Risiken, weil die Software die Verfügbarkeit von kritischen Anwendungen steigert. Die Lösung baut auf Platform Enterprise Grid Orchestrator (EGO) auf - der ersten Grid-Plattform, mit der sich die Vorteile von virtuellen Umgebungen für alle Unternehmensanwendungen realisieren lassen. Platform VMO wird ab Herbst 2005 verfügbar sein.

Platform VMO steuert dynamisch alle IT-Ressourcen eines Unternehmens.
