Industrielle Mainboards und CPU Karten werden in der Regel zwischen fünf und zehn Jahren eingesetzt. Folglich müssen die Boards über einen langen Zeitraum zuverlässig arbeiten. Erhöhen sich jedoch die Leistungsanforderungen oder werden die Anwendungen komplexer, ist meist ein kompletter Hardwareaustausch notwendig. ICP Deutschland bietet seinen Kunden hierfür eine kostengünstige und einfache Alternative. Mittels BIOS Update einiger Skylake CPU Boards und Karten wird der Support von Kaby Lake Prozessoren auch ohne Hardwareaustausch realisiert.
