Viele Applikation erfordern die Kombination von bestehenden PCI und neuen PCI Express Einsteckkarten. Sollte hierfür nur wenig Platz zur Verfügung stehen, wie z.B. bei einem Gehäuse mit halber Baulänge, dann bietet sich der Einsatz der PICOe-PV-D5251 CPU Karte von der ICP Deutschland GmbH an. Die Half Size PCIe CPU Karte unterstützt zusammen mit der passenden Backplane neben den PCI Slots auch noch vier PCIe x1 oder einen PCIe x4 Steckplatz. Bei den Prozessoren kann der Anwender zwischen der leistungsstarken Zweikern CPU Intel® Atom(TM) D525 mit 1.8GHz, der günstigen D425 CPU mit einmal 1.8GHz oder der sparsamen 1.66GHz CPU N455 wählen.
