Mit dem neuen Power over Ethernet (PoE) Medienkonverter IPMC-111PB++-60W erweitert ICP Deutschland sein Portfolio an Kommunikationsprodukten um eine besonders leistungs- und wartungsfreundliche Variante. Mit bis zu 60 Watt Strom können Ethernet Geräte über den 10/100Base-T(X) P.S.E. (Power Sourcing Equipment) RJ45-Port nach IEEE802.3at Standard versorgt werden. Über einen 100Base-FX SFP Port wird der IPMC-111PB++-60W mit dem Glasfasernetzwerk verbunden und kann so eine Reichweite von bis zu 70km abdecken. Seine Wartungsfreundlichkeit wird durch die integrierte Link Fault Pass-through Funktion (LFP) untermauert. Die LFP Funktion wird mittels DIP-Switch aktiviert und sorgt dafür, dass die Verbindung des Transceiver Ports regelmäßig überprüft wird.
