In Zügen und S-Bahnen werden immer mehr Funktionen realisiert, die Rechenleistung benötigen. Ob Video-Überwachung, Entertainment-System oder Fernüberwachung, alle benötigen einen PC, der für diese Gegebenheiten geeignet ist. Der IRS-100-ULT3 von ICP Deutschland ist ein robuster und wartungsarmer Embedded PC, der mit einem Intel® Skylake Core™ i5-6300U Prozessor ausgestattet ist. 4GB DDR4 Arbeitsspeicher sind bereits vorinstalliert und kann auf max. 32GB DDR4 ausgebaut werden. Der Embedded PC kommt bei einer Betriebstemperatur von -40°C ~ +70°C ohne einen internen Lüfter aus. Zwei LAN und ein USB Port sowie der 16VDC oder 160VDC Spannungsanschluss sind mit einem schraubbaren M12 Stecker ausgeführt.
