ICP schnürt SATA Storage Bundles

Um dem Anwender den Einsatz von Serial ATA (SATA) in professionellen RAID Systemen zu erleichtern, haben ICP vortex Computersysteme GmbH (ICP) und CPI Computer Partner Handels GmbH drei SATA Storage Lösungen bestehend aus verschiedenen Komponenten entwickelt.

Die Storage Bundles umfassen eine 4-Bay SATA Backplane, vier SATA Festplatten der unterschiedlichsten Anbieter, einen ICP SATA RAID Controller GDT8546RZ und sämtliche Anschlußkabel. Die Bundles wurden von ICP hinsichtlich Kompatibilität und Funktionalität getestet.

Je nach Anforderung stehen drei Varianten: "Low-Budget", "High-Capacity" oder "Performance-Optimized" zur Verfügung. Das preislich attraktive Low-Budget Bundle zeichnet sich durch günstige Komponenten und beispielsweise 80GB/7200 RPM Festplatten aus.
