Die Syylex AG hat eine Kooperation mit der Firma INCOM Storage GmbH für den Vertrieb ihrer GlassMasterDisc bekannt gegeben. Ziel der Kooperation ist es, die weltweit einzigartige Langzeitarchivierungslösung mittels der GlassMasterDisc von Syylex den Kunden und Partnern der INCOM Storage zugänglich zu machen und diese in bestehende oder neu aufzubauende Archive kompetent einzubinden. Die GlassMasterDisc ist geschützt vor Alterung, Pilzbefall, chemischen Veränderungen, Feuer und Wasser, die Daten werden permanent in die Glas-Scheibe geätzt. Eine GlassMasterDisc ist völlig kompatibel mit dem DVD-Standard und in jedem DVD-oder Blu-ray-Laufwerk abzuspielen.
