Südkorea und Deutschland kooperieren im Bereich industrielle Digitalisierung und erneuerbare Energien

Die Dongshin University aus Naju in Südkorea und das Institut für Textiltechnik (ITA) der RWTH Aachen werden zukünftig im Bereich der industriellen Digitalisierung und bei den erneuerbaren Energien kooperieren. Eine Kooperationsvereinbarung wurde am 9. Juli von Prof. Dr. Chun-Shik Kim und Prof. Dr. Thomas Gries unterschrieben. Prof. Dr. Chun-Shik Kim ist Experte für deutsch-koreanische Wirtschaftskooperationen, ADEKO-Vorstandsmitglied und ehemaliger Berater des Vizepremierministers, Prof. Dr. Thomas Gries ist ITA-Direktor und Rektoratsbeauftragter der RWTH Aachen University für Korea. Die Kooperation markiert den Höhepunkt der 15-jährigen Aktivitäten des ITA in Korea. Früchte dieser Kooperation sind das SmartTextronicsCenter und die Städtepartnerschaft zwischen den Städten Aachen bdb Qmxyc.
