Die DFG fördert ein neues Schwerpunktprogramm (SPP) zum Thema "Aktive Mikrooptik" mit 2,5 Millionen Euro über einen Zeitraum von 6 Jahren. Professor Hans Zappe, Leiter des Lehrstuhls für Mikrooptik am Institut für Mikrosystemtechnik (IMTEK) der Universität Freiburg ist der Koordinator dieses Forschungsprogramms.
