Bayerns Wirtschaftsstaatssekretärin Katja Hessel nahm heute am Spatenstich für die neue Produktionsstätte der Premium Aerotec in Augsburg teil. Dort soll in Zukunft der neue Langstreckenjet der Airbusfamilie A 350 XWB entwickelt und gefertigt werden. Hessel: "Durch diese Investition sichert Airbus die Fertigung in Augsburg für die Luft- und Raumfahrt und macht den Standort zukunftsfähig. Augsburg leistet als Technologiestandort einen großen Beitrag für die Premium Aerotech. Ich freue mich, dass gemeinsam mit den niedersächsischen Standorten Nordenham und Varel ein schlagkräftiger deutscher Zulieferer in der Luftfahrtbranche mit großem Potential auf den globalen Märkten entsteht."
