In dem neuen Distributionszentrum für Liegewaresortimente sollen in Filderstadt-Bonlanden zentral Liegewaresortimente von HUGO BOSS kommissioniert, verpackt und versendet werden. Auf einer Fläche von 23.400 Quadratmetern entsteht eine Anlage mit außergewöhnlichen Dimensionen: ein Zentrum mit ca. 400.000 Plätzen, welches die Shuttletechnologie nutzt, um die Sequenzbildung für die Kommissionierung zu optimieren, eine Sorter-Technologie zur besseren Anbindung der Kommissionierung sowie einem nachgelagerten Value-Added-Service Bereich, um verschiedenste Kundenanforderungen und Absatzkanäle zu bedienen. Hierfür investiert HUGO BOSS 100 Mio. € in den Standort - die bisher größte Einzelinvestition des Modekonzerns. Die ersten Lieferungen werden 2014 vom neuen Distributionszentrum versendet.
