Holger Klanfer ist seit 1. Januar 2018 der neue Mann an der Spitze des Geschäftsbereiches Kongress in Karlsruhe.

Nach Stationen beim Europäischen Verband der Veranstaltungszentren (EVVC e.V.) in Bad Homburg, der Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH und der Esslingen live - Kultur und Kongress GmbH komplettiert der studierte Betriebswirt die Führungsrunde der Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress GmbH (KMK) wieder und leitet den zehnköpfigen Bereich, der sich dem Kongress- und Eventgeschäft der KMK widmet.

Dem Geschäftsbereich kommt eine Schlüsselposition innerhalb der KMK zu, denn mit rund 10 Millionen Euro Umsatz trägt er knapp ein Drittel zu den jährlichen Umsätzen des Gesamtunternehmens bei.
