Lauterbach, der führende Hersteller von Mikroprozessor-Entwicklungssystemen, unterstützt ab sofort mit seinen TRACE32 Debuggern die neue Mikrocontroller Familie AVR32 von Atmel.

Für diese Prozessoren von Atmel bieten die Lauterbach TRACE32 Tools zwei unterschiedliche Debug-Lösungen an. Mit PowerDebug kann der gesamte Debug Prozess wie Code Download, FLASH Programmierung und Source Code Debugging über die JTAG Schnittstelle erfolgen. PowerTrace bietet zusätzlich zu den Grundfunktionen auch noch die Möglichkeit, einen Real Time Trace über die NEXUS Schnittstelle des Chips aufzuzeichnen. Die komfortable Benutzeroberfläche TRACE32 PowerView beinhaltet einen sehr effektiven und benutzerfreundlichen HLL-Debugger für C und C++ und unterstützt unter anderem die Betriebssysteme Linux und Izydwkn RF.
