Mit einem neuen Kommunikationsmodul schafft Lenze die direkte Anbindung der Frequenzumrichterfamilie Inverter Drives 8400 an Ethernet/IP-fähige Steuerungen. Ausstatten lassen sich mit dieser Feldbusschnittstelle sowohl die Schaltschrankgeräte 8400 StateLine, HighLine und TopLine als auch die dezentralen Frequenzumrichter 8400 motec und 8400 protec. Mit ihrer Dual-Port-Technologie und externer 24V Versorgung zur Stützung der Kommunikation bei Netzausfall stellen die Ethernet/IP-Module eine einfache Inbetriebnahme und schnellen Service sicher.

Ein weiteres Highlight der Gerätereihe stellt die ebenfalls neue Ablaufsteuerung für Positioniervorgänge dar. Bis zu 100 Aktionen zum automatischen Ablauf einer Positionierung sind mit der im 8400 TopLine enthaltenen Ablaufsteuerung (Sequenzer) direkt im Umrichter parametrierbar.
