Die neue, auf Kantenantastung basierende messende Funktion ermöglicht das sichere und reproduzierbare Erkennen und Vermessen unterschiedlicher Strukturen. Damit bietet die Kamera neben BLOB-Analyse und Code-Lesung nun auch die Möglichkeit zur Messung von Abständen und geometrischen Formen wie Kreisen, Linien und Kanten - bei hoher Erkennungszu-verlässigkeit und unter einer einzigen Bedienoberfläche. Die Standard-Messanwendungen sind zahlreich: Ob Elektronikindustrie (Kontaktspalten-vermessung), Automobilindustie (Toleranzprüfung, Qualitätssicherung), Ma-schinenbau (Maßhaltigkeitsprüfungen) oder Getränkeindustrie (Bestimmung von Etikettenlage und -ausrichtung) - die messende Bildverarbeitung kommt bei vielen Anwendungen vorteilhaft zum Einsatz.
